Casa de Amigos, an autonomous non-profit corporation, is an ecumenical Christian social service agency. It is funded by churches, individuals, institutions, and the United Way of Midland.

It's mission is:

"HELPING PEOPLE HELP THEMSELVES"

The purposes of Casa de Amigos are:

1) "to improve the quality of life throughout the community by helping people to help themselves;

2) to assess the human service needs of low income families and address these needs in a variety of ways;

3) to make the general community aware of these needs;

4) to enhance understanding and respect in all segments of the community."
