Service Areas
- CASE COORDINATION: Professional casework includes advocacy and outreach, information and assistance, translation services, and home visits as follow-up services. Emergency assistance (food, clothing & limited financial aid) for individuals and families in crises, usually where medical circumstances are present also provided.
- LIFE SKILLS FOR SELF-SUFFICIENCY: Offers mentoring support and goal setting through life skills instruction for improved dignity and self-help.
- GIVEAWAYS: Special programs to assist at the start of school with clothing/supplies, also with food, clothing or toys at holidays with preference for families in other agency programs.
- SPECIALIZED SERVICES: Monthly opportunity to visit with attorney representatives regarding legal questions and problems, primarily related to family law. Immigration services provided by Catholic Charities onsite as scheduled.
Who is eligible?
Low-income individuals or families of all ages and ethnic backgrounds with crisis needs.
Fees
Most programs are free of charge, but clients pay fees for immigration services to Catholic Charities.
Hours
9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday; appointment perferred.
Clients Served
More than 550 unduplicated persons served each year.
Service Provided
Over 56,000 units of service annually (defined as one person participating in one activity, i.e., sessions, classes, appointments, phone calls, etc. on one day).
