SERVICE AREAS
- HEALTH EDUCATION – Onsite sessions provided by professional volunteers and organizations.
- HEALTH SCREENINGS –
- WOMEN, INFANTS & CHILDREN (WIC) – Onsite services provided by Texas Tech Health Sciences Center.
- PRESCRIPTION ASSISTANCE -
- ADULT DENTAL HYGIENE – Transportation provided to Howard Junior College School of Dental Hygiene, Big Spring.
- ADULT DENTAL SCREENING, EMERGENCY CARE & TREATMENT – Services provided by medical professionals for acute dental pain.
- CHILDREN’S DENTAL CLINIC – Onsite services provided by medical professionals.
- CHILDREN’S EMERGENCY DENTAL TREATMENT – Approved Texas Department of Health Nominator Program.
ELIGIBILITY
Low-income persons of all ages and ethnic backgrounds with no means of affordable health/dental care; children referred by school nurses.
FEES
Clients pay a small fee based on a sliding scale
HOURS
As scheduled by appointment.
CLIENTS SERVED
Nearly 1000 individuals served each year.
SERVICE PROVIDED
Nearly 5,000 units of service annually (defined as one person participating in one activity on one day).
