TAKE2 JOB SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAM
Provided through a partnership with Chevron.
The Take2 Job Skills Training Program is here to assist and guide
participants in defining and exploring the skills required to succeed
in targeted, hard-to-fill occupations. Our program helps clients fill targeted occupation jobs by paying a percentage of tuition for certifications through our partnering Colleges.
Vision
Our vision is to “bridge the gap” to connect low-income and economically disadvantaged participants to a higher-wage profession in the Permian Basin. We provide individual support and encouragement for improving job readiness through goal setting, case management, referrals for service, financial planning, and educational opportunities.
Online Orientation
Orientation is the first step to entering the program and is now offered virtually via Zoom and will soon be in person.
-
You will need to email the Take 2 Coordinator your name and the class you are interested in to be placed on the list for orientation.
-
Once on the list, a week before orientation, information will be sent out via email to be filled out to attend orientation.
After orientation, an individual appointment will be scheduled to continue the application process if interested in applying for assistance.
