Casa de Amigos invites you to join us in this important cause by volunteering your time. There are so many volunteer opportunities (listed below) - your talents and passions have a place to land at Casa de Amigos!   Join us in "helping people help themselves!"

Volunteer Opportunities

Mobile Food Pantry -  Casa de Amigos helps feed over 300 families every third Tuesday of the month from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. This is a great opportunity for companies or large groups as we usually need around 20 or more volunteers.

​

Senior Centers -  Come hangout  Monday through Friday from 9 am to 2 pm with our seniors. Play bingo or pool, help serve food, clean or just converse. The biggest thing for our seniors is connection and conversation!

After School Homework Assistance -  Come help our afterschool children with homework! This ensures they are able to go home and spend time with family and also helps keep their grades on track. This is great for older students who may need legacy hours or just want to help as it is geared towards our elementary students. 

​

ESL (English Secondary Language) - Are you bilingual and looking to help volunteer somewhere? Casa de Amigos is right where you need to be! We have ESL 1, 2 & 3 and are looking for those who would like to assist in teaching English. 

​

Leslie's Place - Are you a nurse, doctor, CNA or work in the medical field? Leslie's place is a great opportunity to volunteer. We help provide the ability to be seen by a doctor for those 18 & older without insurance on every Tuesday and Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Casa de Amigos. The Leslie's Place program is truly built on volunteers!
