The Take2 Job Skills Training Program is here to assist and guide participants in defining and exploring the skills required to succeed in targeted, hard-to-fill occupations.

Our goal is to “bridge the gap” to connect low-income and economically disadvantaged participants to jobs paying family-level wages.

Attend  1 Hour Orientation:

Orientation offered at Casa de Amigos every Monday at 9:30 a.m.

(You DO NOT have to call or sign-up ahead of time to attend orientation.)

  • After orientation; if interested in applying for assistance, an individual appointment will be scheduled on a different day to continue the application process.

 Information required before scheduling appointment:

Visit college/school that is offering training you are pursuing. Request information such as; tuition cost, time and days of class, length of training, and registration requirements.

Required Documents to Bring to Your Individual Appointment

  • Driver’s License ( Midland / Odessa  Texas D.L.)
  • Social Security Number
  • 1 utility bill showing resident address (light, water or gas)
  • 1 month of income verification for everyone in the household.
    • 4 check-stubs if paid weekly
    • 2 check-stubs if paid biweekly
    • 3 check-stubs if paid every two week
    • Proof of unemployment benefits if unemployed and receiving benefits.
    • Proof of FDIC assistance if receiving (award letter)
    • Proof of Child support if receiving or applied to receive.

Your individual appointment will approximately take 1 hour;

Take2 quiere “cerrar la brecha” para conectar participantes de bajos ingresos y desventaja económica en trabajos que pagan salarios de nivel familiar.
